Join Girls on the Run of Greater Sacramento for virtual LUNAFEST - an annual Film Festival spotlighting films by and about women.
WHAT IS LUNAFEST?: Four short films by and about women -- plus a special interview with filmmaker Meg Shutzer and pro softball player and Gold Glove winner AJ Andrews from the film Knocking Down the Fences with a total running time of 65 minutes. These films are intriguing, challenging, reflective and at times, humorous. These films are sure to leave you feeling inspired, empowered and excited!
How does it work?: You will have 48 hours to screen the films beginning at 6:00pm on Friday, October 8 through 6:00 pm Sunday, October 10. You may watch at your leisure, any time of the day. Once you start watching, you have 24 hours to view the films. You may skip ahead, go back, or watch as many times as you like during that periodGrab your popcorn, your favorite beverage, and prepare to be inspired!
Where do the proceeds go?: All proceeds go to Girls on the Run of Greater Sacramento. This event will help fund our programs so that we can continue to serve more girls.
How much are tickets?: Tickets are $25 per person or $40 per household.
